The MOFA Taiwan Scholarship is offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to encourage outstanding international students from countries with diplomatic ties to Taiwan to pursue degree programs in Taiwan. The scholarship seeks to strengthen diplomatic relationships, deepen mutual understanding, and promote academic and cultural exchanges.
Scope of the MOFA Scholarship:
I. Round-Trip Airfare (Economy Class)
II. One-year Mandarin Language Enrichment Program (LEP) prior to the degree program (if needed)
III. Monthly Stipend:
- NT$28,000 (Mandarin LEP Year)
- NT$33,000 (Degree Period)
IV. Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees Waiver
